People don't realized that 'the Media' isn''t just there to entertain you, it's there to brainwash you. The whole 'Celtic Tiger' thing was a brilliant marketing tool fuelled by 'the Media'- people were encouraged to spend, spend, spend-from where? The Media. '' Sex in the city'' wasn't just a TV show, it was an adverticement for Luxury goods purchased with cheap easy credit.

i dont read any. If papers just reported the news and didnt take sides or have an agenda then i would read them. I like to make up my own mind about things, not have some d-bag with a column tell me what i should think.

As Anita wisely said read as many different sources as you can and you might see the truth..

Who wants to read about how fucked up the place is supposed to be? Besides they are completely double standards. They let on to be against whats on their articles yet glamorize the stuff to encourage ppl to buy the paper.
