Do you think the verified photo system is working?

what's the story with verified photos? i know how they are supposed to be verified. but i don't think its really working. this is just a suggestion, but if the photo can't be verified, it should not be put up. in other words, i don't think there should be photos awaiting verification displayed on profiles. verified should also mean verified. if the picture can't be 100% verified, then don't allow the photos. there are so many obvious fakes on here it's unreal. if the girl cannot submit a picture of herself holding a sheet of paper with the words ESCORT IRELAND and the date, or the front page of the newspaper of the day, then she should not have photos on her profile.

it's not like the time when ad were only text in newspapers. when someone visits an escort, they have a right for the girl to look like her profile pictures. they will even tell you their photos are real in their profiles. i tend to avoid them straight away.

i think 100% verification is the only way of weeding out the fakes. i'm not having a go at the people that verifiy photos at the moment, but it's obvious to me that the system dosen't work right now.

i have seen other escort site have an option to show the verified photo that was submitted. that is propably something that could be looked at.

it would be great if everyone who vied this thread would just take the time to vote. it won't take long and it will show what the feeling out there is like, and i'm including escorts that have real pictures up on their profile. because i know there are some. but personally, i am off the opinion that more 40-50%, possibly higher, are using fake pictures

I have to agree in part with this post. If a girl is unwilling to use a photo that is real then just have a grey out box. In regard to the person’s privacy, the face could be maybe a little blurred, but yet still allows the client (paying customer) make an informed choice. I don't expect all escorts to be like models, but it is unfair to the client when false images are used which really means to all intensive purposes a con job. This has to be really annoying to the other escorts who are willing to use real and proven images. I have in the past been duped by some of these escorts, but now only go when I can read and verify the escort on the EI site.

some of the profiles do show the escorts face, so, if their pictures are real, and faces are shown they shouldn't have a problem showing their face in a verification photo. for those that choose not to show their faces, the verification photo will be first seen by the ei staff, not punters. if the escort dosen't want to show her face in a verified photo, i'm sure that she could ask the ei staff to blurr out her face. but if she has her face on her profile pictures, then she obviously dosen't have to worry about the verification photo. i really don't think it would take too much effort on the part of the ei staff to put a system like this in place, but it is totally up to themselves. i am just making a suggestion. the site is generally good, but like with everything, there can always be improvements made. i just giving my tuppence worth.

The only way the photo is verified is if the escort allows reviews, I used to allow reviews but decided for personal reasons to opt out last year hence my photos are no longer verified, I also do not want my face shown purely for discretion when I am travelling. I strongly object to the suggestion to 'having a gun' put to my head that the only way I should be allowed to advertise is that I HAVE to allow reviews or HAVE to have my face shown. It's my choice & a choice I am entitled to have, I am not an escort 24/7, I too have an everyday life where I prefer not to be recognised.

the way i see it is that its impossible to have every verified but not 100% of escorts want it. The top escorts who are right up there with reviews will always have the advantage over those that dont. the top reviewed escorts are all verified youll find. Its up to the others to do the same or always be at a disadvantage business wise.Having said that i can understand a girls reasons for not wanting it.
