Weather the meeting happened or not, you would never have an escort complaining that she didn't meet a client if the result was a positive review, therefore I can write a load of positive reviews for escorts and then get a discount.
Of course its open to abuse, its open to abuse as things stand, just throwing it into the pot as a way to get a higher ratio of reviews per bookings as its been said its very low in reality. Probably tonnes of reviews on system already that were borne out of some ad hoc deal struck between both parties.

Its worth exploring some way for genuine escorts who want to be reviewed more in ratio to bookings. You could have a similar system such as ebay (no offense to anyone, just using as an example) where both the seller and purchaser of goods get rated as being on the level. So client A signs up as a gold member, say it costs 50 Euro a year but he gets 10 euro off every booking he makes via the pm system here so if he has 10 bookings a year then he has saved money but part of the deal is that he has to agree to leave a review within a day of booking date (not really much to ask) , if he does not do that then the escort can forward the pm to ad staff as proof of booking and his membership of gold club is revoked and the 10 euro she is down is taken from his 50 refunded to her via ad fee reduction and anything left over can be used to refund others via perhaps it being taken of an ad fee.

If he does review she has no say or control over if its good or bad and thats the chance she will have to take but as I say if an ebay type rating system then over time and with other escorts he saw adding to it his stock as a reviewer goes up and down accordingly...

Just an outline of an idea, nothing more, not saying its not open to misuse but lets get real people, anything to improve any aspect of punting will requie some sort of finacial incentive, nobody here are philanthropists.

Who knows a clients motivation to write a review!!

I know a few escorts who actively ask nearly every client they see to write reviews but I dont feel comfortable doing that...

One thing that bothers me is when you hear guys say I only go for well reviewed escorts & use the review system to determine every punt, yet they themselves never write reviews...

Reviews is certainly a hot topic lol

You probably don't get many reviews now because you have a lot of repeat visitors who might think that you don't need reviews as you are well established. The odd nudge never did any harm.

I have probably only written reviews for 10% of my encounters. When I started punting I didn't do reviews as I didn't have a measure of what to expect and therefore didn't know the difference between a 'good' or 'bad' escort. Even when I did start doing reviews I didn't have a routine - sometimes I would write a review because the encounter was brilliant, but I was still reluctant to write a review of the 'not so good' encounters as I thought 'If I haven't anything good to say, say nothing'. Other times it was because the escort in question already had plenty of reviews and I didn't think I had anything to add that hadn't already been expressed in previous reviews. Last year when I became more active on EI I did reviews for all new encounters.

Maybe I'm lacking in imagination, but how would the "Gold Club" thing work? After all, escorts set their own rates and decide for themselves who, if anyone, is going to get a discount. And who would be collecting this €50?

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Possibly three types of punters also:
    1. The Bravado reviewer, one who likes to let people know (even if anonymously) how many escorts they have been with and will always post a review.
    2. The Sneaky sneaky non-reviewer, one who will never leave a trail in anyway shape or form, no reviews, no accounts, no emails and no texts or phone numbers.
    3. The casual reviewer, one who comes and goes every now and then leaving the odd review, who probably would need to get the user and password sent to leave a review.
Different strokes for different folks and all that.

Default Look at amazon and ebay

On amazon, you can post a review of any product for sale on the site.

If you buy something on amazon from a 3rd party merchant, you can rate them as a seller.

On ebay, buyers and sellers can rate each other when a deal has gone through.

Look at the number of product reviews posted on amazon and compare that to the number of merchant ratings or ebay buyer/seller ratings.

From personal experience, on ebay almost every single deal that I have done there has resulted in the buyer and seller posting ratings of each other.

On amazon, you will see individual merchants who have been active for less than 12 months and have tens of thousands of ratings from customers.

Compare that with product reviews on amazon, you will see things that must sell by the thousand but have just half a dozen reviews.

Rating an amazon merchant or a fellow ebayer is very easy and most folks will do it. Writing a review is a lot harder and fewer people will do this.

Perhaps E-I could try introducing a facility to allow a client to post a quick rating (1 to 5 stars) and see if that would get more clients to give feedback.

As for soliciting reviews from clients, I have two suggestions.

The easy one would be to add a line to your profile stating that you encourage feedback on this site.

I understand that asking a client face to face is harder - you don't want something that sounds as insincere as "thank you flying with us today and please take care when you open the overhead lockers" - but perhaps an escort could just take care to be prepared if the right moment occurs.

At the end of every session with an escort, as I stand at the door about to leave, I always say thank you to the escort for allowing me to visit and almost always I say that I have enjoyed my time. That would be the right moment for an escort to give me a peck on the cheek and say that she likes to see feedback on the website.

That would certainly make it more likely that I would post a review.

I do not think that a formal incentive scheme would be workable but how about sending a pm to a client to say thanks for a review? That would be a chance for you to say "come again" as well.

Some good advice there Sharkskin ;-)

I actually had a client text me yesterday to thank me for the time he had with me last week, he said 'he had tried to leave me a review twice but it still didnt show on my profile & that he would keep trying until it did as he has had this problem before'. So maybe leaving reviews isnt as easy as I would assume it would be & some guys may actually leave them but because they dont check if it was posted may not realise it hasnt gone through the system. It seems like there is lots of changes being made on this site, maybe we are asking too much & spreading the resources of E-I to thinly.
Certain things need changing or modifying & certain less important changes could wait till further down the line.....

Another point that Forrest made was how some of us escorts with a decent number of reviews, clients may not feel we need them. Yet when the top number of reviewed escorts is clear to be seen on the reviews page & escorts are getting awards & extra publicity because of these awards ( & fair play to those lovely ladies ) its obvious that every review counts ;-)
