Thumbs down William Faulkner - Midlands Radio 103

This man is the Station Manager of Midlands Radio 103.

We are informed that he was phoning escorts this morning live on radio, including getting them to tell him their location.

He seems to think that calling up independent escorts (who are doing nothing wrong legally) and getting them to tell him their location and various other details and then broadcasting this is fair enough. He obviously doesn't care about their privacy or their safety or that what he is doing is very wrong. He seems to think this is funny and makes good radio.

He has also uploaded some of the audio recordings to Facebook.

probably getting his jollies by doing this too, I bet you find that he has frequented a few ladies as "research" and he's just an upset punter

i can't believe he's putting the recordings on Facebook, surly there must be some law to protect escorts from this sort of thing as they aren't breaking any rules. If so I'd love someone to have a go at him and Midlands Radio, drag the fuckers through down some sort of legal avenue.

Here is his page on that radio stations site, it has a text and phone number at the top, presumably one of these numbers is what would have come up on the phones of those he rang...

    Will Faulkner, Midlands 103

Text number is 083 30 10 103 so perhaps people here avail of the op to tell them what they think of this stunt...

But this crowd are so low on journalistic ethics I expect people would be afraid to text them, as they might read out the numbers on air or something.

The phone conversations have been posted on the station's website, but the links aren't working right now. The addresses of the two pages tells you what Will and his buddies in Redneck FM think

Some news articles coming out now about raids in the Midlands. Some mention of organised prostitution in that area. Why can't these journalists do something worthwhile, like investigate whether there are pimps controlling escorts in this region? Why do they have to take the cheap and nasty option and phone a few random independent escorts up instead?
