still though u have to ask the Q Why do we take it all lying down? It is a curse that Irish people love to complain but do nothing when it comes to action a small amount of people fucked it all up for the rest of us through sheer greed nothing more than thieves now its transferred to the shoulders of the entire population Is it any wonder that the thieving cunts politicians bankers developers & top civil servants rode us all because they knew that we'd take it lying down like the grumbling doormats we are....

I agree with seanief to a point, a lot of the same people who now are in negative equity, up to their bollocks in debt & facing bankrupcy voted FF back in when their leader was giving evidence at tribunals such as - " I won it on the horses".
To those people I say you deserve everything you get & what an indictment on Ireland that we could have such tolerance for liars, cheats, me feiners & all that accompanies these fucks.
But seanief where has your free-marketeering gotten us ? Where has laiser-faire economics got this little banana republic ?
Greed is good, right ? Even the pretence that we should strive for a more equal society is corrupt thinking, right ? The strong shall prosper & the weak shall perish ? This is capitalism at it's awful worst, like economic anarchy.

Call me a red, a pinko, whatever but I think that we need some examples here. After the revolution, I have said it before, I want to be the minister for revenge - starting with Ahern inhabiting the top floor of one of the remaining Ballymuin Towers, no lifts, €100 / week to survive etc.

Now is the time to, LEAVE the Eurozone and bring back the Irish pound. Financial experts, here in America, doubt seriously that the Eurozone will remain as it is, in other words, they expect some countries, the financially weak and reckless ones, will hopefully go their own way. See ya!!!

they will just make a bad situation worse,by going too far they have actually played into the hands of the
goverment as this morning the news channels are saying ordinary decent people want to distance themselves from these murders and thuggery. The problem here is what option has Greece ? none is the answer, if they
dont accept this loan and the conditions that go with it they are bankrupt, so instead of enforced cuts on wages
etc there will be no wages and the people protesting instead of getting reductions will not be paid atall.
In fairness the greek economy is a total basket case,it is almost totally dependent on tourism and i guess there
will be alot of people who were thinking of going there for a holiday will now go elswhere on the off chance of being caught up in all of this . There is a terrible culture of lies and deciet in greece with the goverment leading
the way by cooking the books and not being up front about deficets etc ,it now seems that they lied and
didnt meet the criteria to join the Euro and are now reaping the rewards of this. Also apparently the black economy is huge there and tax avoidance a real massive problem
Well said Ber. Tax aviodance is the national pastime over there...........

But I'm sorry, they've gone to far.............they're killing innocent people............and this is making a bad situation worse ref tourism..........

And who do they think is footing the bill for all these riot repairs???

    Actually, we are I guess............

I think the olympics really fucked them. Borrowed too much for the showmanship I think...........

These aren't the first and second times Greeks have taken to the streets; there were demonstrations nearly two years go about unemployment amongst the 18-25 year olds. Its pretty obvious they don't know how a country should be run. They have had a pretty good run and now it's time to pay the piper

The country with the worlds biggest trade surplus and the biggest growth rate is Communist China the Capitalist countries in the west actually owe China big bucks.

Thats a kick in the bollox for capitalism.

Also when you are up to your knob in debt you are a slave to the money lenders.

this is the latest argument of the communist/markist/socialist what ever they call themselves
after 1989 and the complete collaspe of their world and belief system and the liberation of the people of eastern europe they embrased the green movement somehow magically making being green a left wing thing. When communism did far more environment damage (chernobyl the ural sea)
they embrased multi-culturism making accepting of imigrants a left wing thing even due the far left
have practised just as much racism as the far-right Stalin and MAO etc. note that the recent black kids death the socialist party orgainsed a rally
why how come no communist rally for the other murders this year whats their agenda behind the scenes?
now its china is communist and its brillant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do people call China communist still, it's more capitalist then any country in the world right now?
The only thing that remains of its communist system is the crackdown on religion and the single party system but the single party system or religious crackdowns don't make a country communist. Communism is an economic model, not a political one. China should be renamed Capitalist China from Communist China!
there are really only two types of government, democracies and dictatorships. some of the dictatorships like China like to call themselves "communist" but that doesn't make them so. sure, you can refer to them as "capitalist china" but they will still officially be called "communist china" because that's what the government wants to be called.
Growth rates and trade surplus go up and down all the time.

    North Korea /South Korea

Where do you want live in a democracy or as a slave
Make your move commies, make your move

Well, that would be America with a trade deficit of two billion dollars, the largest deficit any one country has with China. I wonder would this have anything to do with the fact the media over here has stopped using the word 'Communist' when describing China? And people here wonder why there is no jobs
