Do we care? I'm asking this in all seriousness. It's not uncommon for an escort to work as an independent in Ireland and as an agency escort somewhere else. Ireland is somewhat unusual in having an active independent scene. In many countries the concept barely exists. If we have a rule that "independent" means "independent everywhere in the world" then we are effectively telling escorts there are certain countries where they can't work if they want to tour Ireland. I think "independent" should mean "independent in Ireland".

Im sure escorts work for agencies in other countries and choose to come to Ireland to work as independents. If we have proof the lady has been sent over here to work for an agency we will put this on her profile and maybe take further action.

Ok I think the term AGENCY needs to be clarified here. Agencies work very well in other countries similar to Modelling agencies here. They state - “We have a number of girls available on our files, here they are, please pick one”. These girls are not forced into this game by the agency, but the agency acts as an advertisement for these girls for a probable fee.

But mention agency here and we all consider it as trafficking and underhanded and the girls should be pitied because they are working against their will. Is this really the case here in Ireland? And if so, is it only the case here, and should girls working for foreign agency be considered kosher when they work here. I don’t really understand the Naughty Nina case thing. Why should we really care if this is the case.
