Only if you can understand it,
    Westside.

Confidence in a woman is more attractive than any body part. This is also applicable to men so no high flying off high buildings plz.

Im not talking about respect.Im talking about the fact that when Hitler died did he automactically become an ok person in the eyes of those who dispised him?

Im not prasing Hitler or anything, but he did unite a country that was severly fucked from the previous war and gave a nation hope. He was a (supposedly )fantastic orater and got the people back to be proud to be German. Aside from the whole war thing and ethnic cleansing he didnt do a bad job

im not comparing them although the torment they caused to humanity was similar. In any event ,if you knew this person and you thought that they wer so and so and that person died ,would you come along then and say they were fine?

    you know the answer,

Gerry Ryan didnt unite a country and you could hear him eating his breakfast roll on air but I wouldnt compare him to Hitler at all. Fair enough he wasnt everybodies cup of tea but the man was still an institution on Irish radio and his voice and insights will be sorely missed

We sent our condolences didn't we???......................

Westie, you're missing the point. It's not about having an opinion one way of the other about someone, and nobody should change their opinions once somebody dies. It's about being respectfull about airing those opinions, and knowing when not to...........

BTW, I don't think GR killed anybody. A silly comparison..............

What about the respect shown to his family who want privacy ,by the newspapers? Why are they doing that? Out of badness? Apart from the obvious as in selling their newspapers why dont they not do it? Because Ryan was an Irish celebrity. Like i said before ,when someone puts themselves into the public domain they are open to opinions and everything else especially after their death.

By the way, just for my own info, how do you respectfully air the fact that you thought someone was an arsehole?

    just wondering,

I happen to agree wholeheartedly with you, so no, I wouldn't. But I wouldn't wade into the funeral party roaring "What's wrong with you people? He was a CUNT!!!!"
