Thumbs up Will the Governments see sense??

Just saw this article published on a uk escort forum. Lets hope the powers that be take note & make changes to the law both in the Uk & Ireland. The guardian is a well respected paper & good to see a sensible article on prostitution for once instead of the usual tripe they write....

Well all escorts should vote Lib Dem today as they seem to be most progressive party on escort situation
    Blatant promotion should be outlawed

I generally vote Labour, but that Harriet Harman has terrible views on sex work.

An organisation like Outreach is needed over here, by the sound of it. I can't see that happening though, with most of the country's sex workers being from abroad. As for changing the law - the dinosaurs in the Dail will not dare risk losing the 'down with that sort of thing' vote. I can't think of another way to describe them.
Why do people / organisations always think that people have to be converted in order to be helped. They remind me of those early christian missionaries; convert of be damned! Given sensible laws most escorts could run their own business in a discreet, law abiding manner.
