As antiseptic, I love and use as well Listerine a few times a day. Also a throat spray like Strepsils Plus for example, it is a very good antibacterial.

Talking about good mouth hygiene, let's not forget about flossing.
Many minuscules food bits get firmly stucked between the teeth and the brush or the mouthwash cannot remove it all the day.

The actual brush is also important. I have invested last Christmas in an electrical toothbrush and I would not go back again to a regular brush, as I find it very good:
