    Default Requiem to Bigpaws.

I never really knew Bigpaws, I was then new to the site and hadn't got a handle on anything then. I got the impression that he was brighter than most (I stand to be corrected).
I quickly learned that every time I went into battle with him, I lost every time (hammered into the ground) and then he would very politely boast about it.
I remember he had a sidekick, can't for the life of me remember who that was, whether he's gone as well, I really don't know.
It's a pity it ended up the way it did, I quite miss his contributions, there was a lot of hatred in the end, he brought a bit of life to the place, come back ya fucker, all is forgiven.
    Once a prick - always a prick.

I reckon the likes of Bigpaws don't just disappear, they re-invent themselves

From what I hear, he is closer than we think, Who knows maybe it was really QPH and the war that they had was just a distraction. Who would have suspected that

I'm like Rover, he started to fade away just as I started posting regularly. Fiendishly clever debater, rabble-rouser and seemed to be well in the know. I wonder why he cooled off posting?

I would be in the same boat mousey He was only around a short while when I started too. He was a clever debater alright no doubt about it and have to be honest it was more livelier with him around. As Anon said I doubt he has gone far but has seemed to either mellow his views or is just hibernating somewhere

It was when the mods were coming aboard, I seem to remember. He led a sort-of campaign against their introduction and then dropped off the radar when they got going. I've heard people say that, given his enmity with QPH, he knew when he was beaten and called it quits.

Then again, if you say he's closer than we think, maybe there's another story. A secret deal hatched in a windowless smoky room over a poker table, with half-drunk glasses of whiskey and big men in suits watching the doors....

Yes, sorely missed. Such a warm witty fun-loving charming brave fine upstanding citizen.

I believe he saved lives , persons from drowning and drugs and the sort.

When he fell in love with an escort and then admitted to lying on reviews it did kind of harm his reputation. He did a bunk around the same time as
    The List. A coincidence ?

To be fair the ladies what work say he was a charming chap. Perhaps he still is......

    Well.......................................

He was pretty harmless really- always looking for a cause to champion - a rebel without a pause as it where.

I feel that he became a bit mentally unbalanced late on- he even used his girlfriends account at one stage- this did not please her, and was a bit naughty.

I know had others done such things he would have been down on them like a tonne of feathers ( I know....but its still a tonne either way)

Thing is he's not even banned from here. Dont know why he would reinvent himself. I suppose he lost quite a bit of respect- assuming that matters on an internet forum........

nice tea by the way mousey- any chance of a fig roll?

I do miss the high quality debates between him and Westside and Flypan.

Now Flypan, theres my kind of poster. Quiet, shy, retiring, sensitive...................

From what I recall Paws was not particularly fond of me

That should be "towards" QPH... I never did a thing to him until I disagreed with him in a fair an open debate and then the dirty tricks book came out behind the scene's so I refute the ascertian that he could so much as debate his way out of a wet paper bag.

I never had an issue with him until he showed himself to me to have targeted an escort here just out of a personal grudge with her and I spoke up so if he has a problem with me that his chip to shoulder as he is one that did that... I only shone a light on it...
