BBC News - Snooker champion John Higgins in 'bribe' allegation

Here's more from this shocker of a story. His manager seems to be hinting that he feared for their safety from these syndicates unless he agreed to take a bribe and lose a few frames.

shocking alrite but what I cannot fathom is WHY he would want to take a bribe when he is already a muti millionaire from the sport? I met him once in the company of others he came across as a genuinely nice person reading this on the papers & seeing the video has changed my opinion Higgins your a money grabbing greedy bastard....

I didn't watch the final this year for the first time in years. The year Graeme Dott beat Ebdon 1996 I think put me off watching him. And I think I was proven right as it dragged on all night very late. It's a pity the rocket wouldn't get has act together. H e should have 6 titles or more by now the talent he's got. If he could sort it out mentally he would be unstoppable.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.

Delighted to see a new champ crowned. Always had a soft spot (ahem) for Neil Robertson and it's great to see him living up to his potential. The new Beckham of the baize??
