I think some one has forcast a good summer

FFS they'd tell you that youd win on lotto on four numbers. They say the same thing ever year. God i never forget that August weekend when they said it was going to be a scorcher and half the country spent it walking around with brollys.

Sorry Westie but April is not summer.I think the last time the weather was really warm in April was in 2007 and was followed by a washout summer so your theory is disproved.

I said whenever we had a heat wave the weather was way warmer in April than it is now. I never said that if the weather was warm in April ,then the summer will be good.

PS i always say that we get our best weather from this time onto the start of June. Mostly after that its hit and miss.

Well for what its worth Ken Ring is not too hopeful for our summer either this year. He is the guy from
New Zealand who predicts the weather using tidal patterns. He wa pretty much spot on last year in all
his predictions (BBC forecast us a heatwave last year boy were they wrong) and so far this year has been
correct he predicted the cold spell . So i guess we will just have to wait and see. It is getting serious at
this stage as we are facing into our 4th yr of terrible weather

Where I'm at there was over 80 inches of snow which was incredibly unusual and than got teimpertures of 26'C for the first couple of days of April which has everyone talking bout a heat wave comparable to the Summer 2006 in which Ireland also experienced a heat wave.
