Normally when 'The World Cup' is on Ireland has good weather, so lets wait until June to see who's right and who's wrong, but if all else fails you'll get something in July or August for sure

the weather is nice now but its not that hot for the time of year. I mean we are into Summer and May is only two weeks away. Anytime we have ever gotten a heat wave or really warm summers, they were warmer as early as March. Any heatwave we have had started in early March or so and was way warmer then this is for the time of the year.

Well for what its worth Ken Ring is not too hopeful for our summer either this year. He is the guy from
New Zealand who predicts the weather using tidal patterns. He wa pretty much spot on last year in all
his predictions (BBC forecast us a heatwave last year boy were they wrong) and so far this year has been
correct he predicted the cold spell . So i guess we will just have to wait and see. It is getting serious at
this stage as we are facing into our 4th yr of terrible weather
