Default Anyone have any experience of Dawn Simulator clocks????

They wake you up by simulating natural sunlight which is supposed to give you more energy on awakening. I heard good things about them.

    anyone have one of these?

Wouldnt it be easier and simpleir just to draw back the curtains in the morning, then again I suppose you would also have to move to a country where the sun actually shines

Nope because the whole idea behind them is a period of about half an hour before the time you set the light goes from dim to bright like natural sunset which is better on your body clock and energy levels. You actually have to get out of bed to draw the curtins in Cork anyway.

The thing i want to try and find out is im an early riser and say in winter, the bright light begins and i awake ,calm ,relaxed and refreshed. All nice and shiney to begin my day. then i go out and its fuckin dark again. What does this do? Do i get a geriatric fit or something?

a longer day with a shortened lifespan?

I mean if as you said its bright with the light and you get up and its dark if this continues will it fuck up your biological clock? I know those lights are meat to work wonders for seasonal affective disorders all the same

You are a fucking genius Doozer. Millions spent on research and nobody thought of this.

I actually did think of doing this before, but there's a fucking street lamp outside my window so I can't.

Have you a relative in Dublin who works in the CSO, takes time out to learn stuff in College, fondles lapdancers ,causes trouble in diners and has a love affair for Bus Eireann?

    just wondering,
