Reality star and former TV presenter Dina confirmed the split on Thursday adding the couple had been living apart “for some time”.

Dina, 48, told US Weekly, she remains “close” to the 83-year-old Dirty Harry star.

A source told the magazine the couple, who share a 16-year-old daughter Morgan, have been loving apart for over a year, splitting last June.

Dina, Morgan and stepdaughter Francesca Fisher-Eastwood starred in reality TV show Mrs. Eastwood & Company last year (scroll down for a clip), propelling them into the public eye.

Francesca, 20, is Eastwood's daughter from his relationship with Titanic actress Frances Fisher.

Rumours surfaced the couple may have separated after The Bridges Of Madison County actor appeared at TriBeCa Film Festival in New York City minus his wedding ring.

The couple had not been photographed together since November 2011 and in March they appeared to be an argument at his daughter Alison's wedding.

Previously Dina has spoken about Clint's desire for her to be a stay at home mother, saying: "If my income even counted 10 percent to our household, I would work. I love working."

"Being married to Clint is almost a full-time job, just trying to keep up with him."

Clint has been married two times and has seven children by five women.

He was married to Maggie Johnson for 31 years and lived with actress Sondra Locke for 14 years.

Doesn't seem to be a good week for celebrity couples! Did you see this coming, or is it unexpected?

He has been described as a "serial womanizer."[6][249][250] According to biographers Marc Eliot and Patrick McGilligan, Eastwood had affairs with actresses Catherine Deneuve,[251][252] Jill Banner,[253] Jamie Rose,[254] Inger Stevens,[255] Jo Ann Harris,[256] Jean Seberg,[257] script analyst Megan Rose,[256][258] James Brolin's former wife Jane,[259] columnist Bridget Byrne,[260] and competitive swimmer Anita Lhoest.[251]
Eastwood married Maggie Johnson on December 19, 1953, six months after they met on a blind date.[261] However, their matrimony would not prove altogether smooth, with Eastwood believing that he had married too early. A decade later, during a trial separation from Johnson, an affair Eastwood had with dancer Roxanne Tunis produced his first child, Kimber Tunis (born June 17, 1964).[262][263] (He did not publicly acknowledge Kimber until 1996,[264] seven years after she revealed her identity as Eastwood's daughter to the Globe tabloid in July 1989.[265]) After a reconciliation, he had two children with Johnson: Kyle Eastwood (born May 19, 1968) and Alison Eastwood (born May 22, 1972), though he was not present at either birth.[266] Johnson filed for legal separation in 1978 after another lengthy trial separation, but the pair did not officially divorce until May 1984.[267][268]

    Eastwood with Locke in 1988
Eastwood's relationship with actress Sondra Locke began in the fall of 1975 during production of The Outlaw Josey Wales. They lived together for almost fourteen years, during which Locke remained married (in name only) to her gay husband, Gordon Anderson.[269][270] Eastwood befriended Locke's husband and purchased a house in Crescent Heights for Anderson and his male lover.[263] In the late 1970s, Locke had two abortions and a tubal ligation,[271] later stating it was a "mutual decision" to have the procedures.[272] Eastwood and Locke went on to star in five more films together: The Gauntlet, Every Which Way but Loose, Bronco Billy, Any Which Way You Can, and Sudden Impact. On April 10, 1989, while Locke was away directing the film Impulse, Eastwood ordered his staff to change the locks on their Bel-Air home, remove most of her possessions and place them in storage.[273] Locke filed a palimony suit against Eastwood, then sued him a second time for fraud, regarding a phony directing contract he set up for her in settlement of the first lawsuit.[274] In 1996, minutes before a jury was to render a verdict in Locke's favor, Eastwood agreed to settle for an undisclosed amount.[275] Locke's autobiography, The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly, includes a harrowing account of Eastwood's treatment of her in the events following their separation.[276]
During the last three years of his cohabitation with Locke, Eastwood fathered two children in secrecy with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves.[249] They met at a pub in Carmel and conceived a son, Scott Reeves (born March 21, 1986), at the premiere of Pale Rider.[277] Since Reeves made no great demands on him, he later repeated the experience;[278] they also had a daughter, Kathryn Reeves (born February 2, 1988).[268] The birth certificates for both children stated "Father declined."[279][280] Eastwood's affair with Reeves was first reported in the Star tabloid in 1990,[281] but was ignored by the mainstream press for more than a decade. Eastwood's friend Richard Schickel wrote in a 1996 authorized biography that the actor had two more children than the public knew about, but would not reveal the children's names or the identity of the mother.[282] Eastwood finally presented his and Reeves' children to the public in 2002. Kathryn served as Miss Golden Globe at the 2005 ceremony where she presented Eastwood with an award for Million Dollar Baby.[283]
In 1990, Eastwood began living with actress Frances Fisher, whom he had met on the set of Pink Cadillac in late 1988.[284] They co-starred in Unforgiven, and had a daughter, Francesca Fisher-Eastwood (born August 7, 1993).[285] Eastwood and Fisher ended their relationship in early 1995,[286] but remain friends and later worked together in True Crime.

Eastwood with wife Dina in 2007
Eastwood subsequently began dating Dina Ruiz, a television news anchor 35 years his junior, whom he had first met when she interviewed him in 1993.[285] They married on March 31, 1996, when Eastwood surprised her with a private ceremony at a home on the Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.[287] After their wedding, Dina commented "The fact that I am only the second woman he has married really touches me."[288] Eastwood said of his wife "As far as I'm concerned, this is the woman I like monogamy with."[263][289] The couple has one daughter, Morgan Eastwood (born December 12, 1996).[289] In August 2013, Dina Eastwood said she and Clint Eastwood had been living separately for an undisclosed length of time.[290]
