    Default The late Eugene Lambert.........

I was sad this week to hear of the passing of Eugene Lambert..........

I doubt there's an Irish person alive (over the age of 20-25) that hasn't heard of Eugene Lambert, or isn't farmiliar with some of his work..........

    Entertained a generation or two...........

We might look back now and say it wasn't great, but at the time...............it was brilliant...........

Doubt the kids these days would get it or appreciate it.............

    RIP..........

RIP Eugene, always remember Wonderly Wagon used to frighten the shit out of me, no so much when they did the green cross code though

They should repeat Wanderly Wagon as a mark of respect. Is the safe cross code still going? I used to get one of those badges every year. I suppose Gaybo replaced it with something else.

We take the kids quite a bit and they love it. Until quite recently Eugene used to come out at the start with Judge and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the parents! It's amazing how much of an impact he made on so many lives through something as simple as a puppet.

A real loss but with his family running things now and hopefully for well in to the future his legacy will live on.

it was a classic alright. One of those shows that could never be duplicated. Lambert will never be replaced either.
