when i was a student i use to do security at night fucking 16hour shifts and 12hours at weekends and i did that setting the alarm and nodding of game because i had to do a radio check every single hour and if you missed one you would be hearing about it ....you know it actually works but i am glad those days are well gone

ha ha I had the best security job.You only physically had to be there on the site and the guy in the van would make sure I was there. So 12 hrs just playing the xbox, drinking , on the net. Easy job

im not trying to replace sleep with it but add it in, in addition to sleep especially after eating.

Polyphasic sleep? Personally I don't think it's very natural, but if you really get it to work for you more power to you.

I'm actually planning to sleep outdoors when it gets warmer this year. Much less C02 in the air, much more oxygen, humidity a lot less, <insert more things about nature we haven't discovered yet here>. Perhaps the next day I'll be awake like I've never been before on minimal sleep.

their minds are more rested. When you think of it,the naps and spacing out or whatever ppl want to refer to them as rest the mind which means its clearer with more awareness. I dont think its so much that they are smarter, just that they can use their minds better due to the more relaxed state of mind they have become accustomed too. This is the whole goal of meditation. To make that meditative state of mind the norm ,through regular daily practice.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.

PS Winston Churchill used these power naps alot and theres no debating how intellegent he was.
