    Was there ever a future. Im sorry to say any good footballer goes over to the UK to play in a top league. The Irish league is only filled with second rate footballers, those who have yet to go abroad and the has beens from accross the water

    it is such a shame irish soccer never took off is there any other country in the world where the majority of soccer fans support teams outside our own country i cant imagine there is too many examples of this i really admire the die hard l of ireland fan and laugh at all the plonkers shouting againts england in world cups and so on i think its an innocents you only get with irish people p.s hope england win world cup [geninunly]

    I was at a Liverpool match one time and some Scouser shouted at us to go home and support our own clubs... what's to support?
