I have worked in the technology industry for years and can tell you that an IP address is a UNIQUE identifying number which is attached to your computer or device. Perhaps like the milk tray man he absailed down the side of the hotel building, jumped in your bedroom window and posted the message on your computer when you were in the shower.....

Zo and I don't think we own this website but unlike you we know what its for. Its so that Escorts can advertise their services and so clients can express their honest unbiased opinions. Its rich of you to call us childish when you think that because you pay for advertising you should be able to choose which reviews you keep.....then when you don't get your way you start accusing us of being pimps....pretending to be a punter yourself and gettig your lackies to call and harass on your behalf. Its no wonder the staff are sick of you.

I would agree with what Anna has said to you. Try to concentrate more on offering a good service and then you won't have to worry so much about getting bad reviews. Its straight forward....

Hi - I really didn't want to get involved in this one at all as it does seem to have got completely out of hand, but that last statement by Armani hurt my inner geek. I'd just like to point out that shared IPaddresses between posters, while admittedly suspicious, is NOT a way of identifying individual computers. If you are connecting from home and your ISP isn't routing you through a proxy it might connect back to your computer (or home router)but for most of us (I hope) the IP will only indicate which proxy you are connecting through - to find out individual computers and users you'd need to contact the ISP. And even if you did that you would most likely find that the "user" is in fact an address tied to a router which again could have many computers connecting to it. In the case of a bar or a hotel with a wifi network they would most likely be using DHCP (in fact they must be) - this system "leases" ipaddresses to users for a certain amount of time before they are re-used... so within a day hundreds of computers will have potentially shared the exact same IP.

I'm not saying that there is nothing suspicious about Pete and Mariana sharing an IPaddress - of course there is, but to say that this proves beyond doubt that they are one and the same person is simply not true. Personally I think that it was fair enough to point out the shared IP and let people make up their own minds... but to go so far as to say that fraud is proved beyond reasonable doubt is quite simply false.

Maybe Pete's post above is bullshit, maybe it isn't - I couldn't tell you either way, nor can anybody. The most anyone can say is that the post was made via the same proxy.... which seems obvious from what pete says in his second post - which of course could also be bullshit, but who knows?

In light of this I think that maybe people should take a step back and calm down a bit - you've all had your opportunity to vent now in any case - I think the "lurkers" will have formed their own opinion by now so it hardly warrants further discussion.

FULL DISCLOSURE BIT:I have posted in Mariana's defence before... and reviewed her a couple of times. So obviously I'm going to get a stomping for this post... oh well, I suppose that is fair enough

MORE DISCLOSURE: Since I am connecting from a monitored network I am connecting via a public anonymous proxy using ssl encryption... I would recommend this for all of you, not to make life more difficult for the moderators here - but do you really want your ISP or WORSE! your office network admin to know where you surf to? (you don't really connect from the office do you???!!!)

Hi Armani - read my post again slowly - maybe count to 10 before you do as you seem to have skipped over some of my points.... Of course it's suspicious - it was your misuse of technical evidence that I had an issue with. IP addresses are an imperfect way of tracking down misuse on the web or elsewhere because they can be changed/spoofed/hidden etc... and with DHCP and routers thrown into the mix well - it all gets a little blurred doesn't it?

If we really want to get down to the nitty gritty we'd have to see which ip's are being compared and from what dates.... are they from he same day even? is Mariana's the same ip she registered with or the one she has used most recently? As Donald Rumsfeld might say - there are the known knowns, the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns

I'm not saying what I actually think has gone on here as I (for once) don't feel like taking sides on this one - much too hot in the kitchen! - but fairs fair... lets be a bit more accurate if we're going to quote "evidence"

OK.....so what we can agree on is this. Its very suspicious that Mariana and Pete have the same IP address....much like it would be suspicious if the fingerprints found at the scene of a crime corresponded with the chief suspect. Still not proof....but at the same time strong evidence.

A good point that comes across however and you are right.....because of the way IP addresses can be changed/hidden/spoofed Mariana could easily be one in the same person as all her other positive reviewers on this site. A good point!

There are more important things to worry about in our lifes and in this business...
