    Default E-I in today's Examiner...

The second one is just to give you an idea of where they put it in the page and how it looked (look at the ad they placed it over!!! )

I think overall a good enough job by Steven Rogers, he got the fact the two ladies constitute a brothel and prostitution is not actually illegal but the advertising of it is etc. down. He made negative connotations about it of course, but I wouldn't mind that too much as he doesn't want to take any risks with his 'reputation' and image considering the country we're in... we're a work in progress.

I'm not sure if he's right about the "would be illegal if it was [should be 'were'] hosted in Ireland", as E-I doesn't advertise prostitution services at all but escorting services. I think it would probably still be illegal, it'd just be a lot harder to track down and prosecute... might that have been what you were thinking of Mr. Rogers? I'm not sure about that but it seems to make more sense, you can't sell something like illegal bomb instructions and say it's okay because they were printed in Arab Emirates and it's legal there and then they were sent on...

Not a bad piece.........a journo actually reporting some facts for a change.

I wonder if other publications will also cover Patricia's campaign. Given the day that's in it, the headline opportunities are good..................

"What Escorts want for Valentine's Day"
"Escorts Solicit Politicians Over Cohabitation Rights"
"Don't Make Us Spend Valentine's Day Alone"

I wonder if escorts were to form civil partnerships with their duo/working partner, how would the law reconcile the rights of civil partners to cohabit against the prohibition against two escorts sharing accommodation. The future ain't socialist brothers.............it's lesbian.

Default The laws here are ridicolus as far as this goes

This industry is never ever going to go away. If it was ,it would have gone away. The fact remains that the laws can be changed and things made safer for girls working at it. they will work at it anyway so its better to at least make it safer for them. In fairness ,i dont think that anybody, politicians, Gardai, journalists etc would begrudge them a safer place but its the differing morals that come into it is the problem.

Looks like Stephen Rogers was fair enough and basically reported the facts correctly, so credit where credit due.
