I hope England struggle their way to either the quarter-finals or semi-finals, get their hopes way up, harking back to 1966 again , and then get the crap beaten out of them by a really good team. It'd be more of a laugh that way.

Nothing to worry about England won't win it. Knowing the British press they already have scandal on another England footballer and are waiting untill the World cup to reveal it.

England will never win the World Cup again. They just are good enough to make it. Spain are good but they have had their chances in the past and always seem to fall apart in the later parts of the tournament. I think that the World Cup this year wont be a great one as a lot of teams have being shit lately. Thats why i reckon Brazil should do it. They always have the psychological advantage and can hold it together in the big matches. Italy are only a patch of the team that they once were. Germany always seem to hold it together and do well in the later parts of the cup as well.

No European side has ever won a world cup when the finals were held outside Europe, and only one country has won when the finals were held on a different continent (counting North and South America as one continent) to it's own...........Brazil. Don't think there's much chance of England winning and I hope that the French handball players don't win either.
