to be fair I hear Irishmen going on about the English going on about 1966 than I actually ever hear the English going on about 1966, so I'm afraid I blame the Irish on this one.

anyway back to the point - I fancy Spain v Brazil Final - the rest are much of a muchness. I hope Spain succeed as the play 'proper' football.

Had a bad feeling England might just pull this one off...then John Terry got caught on Bridge's missus..so now I think Brazil. Holland wil do their normal imploding. Argentina might surprise though

Honestly, all the big teams arent what they used to be, Italy, France Brazil Argentina , all but Brazil struggled to qualify and Brazil didnt look themselves either. I would say a European Team, Spain seeming most likely and an African team doing well too.

this is what makes Brazil so dangerous in the World Cup. They just do enough to qualify, just do enough to go forward in the tournament and only in the latter stages, unless needed, they give it their best. I reckon Brazil will walk away with it this time. Italy are crap, Spain are good but always fall apart near the end, England are crap, Germany not what they were but still have it to win, the Dutch are crap, France are crap. I would never rule Argentina out though.
