i tell you one thing. I couldnt stop the Lisbon Referendum or i couldnt stop the Olympics but i could stop a comp. You cant please ppl against their will. Im not Ric but if i was id pull the comp.

I hate to see this thread, I can't even bring myself to read it properly, because I think both Ric and El Gordo bring so much positive to this site. There shouldn't be bad feeling here.

Ric does a great job with the Escort of the Month. It is his thing, he's done it for a long time, he puts in a lot of hard work, it is a great asset to this site, he deserves THANKS for all his efforts here, not nit picking criticism.

El Gordo is also a member of this community who gives a lot. Anyone with any interest in reviews knows El Gordo and knows him as someone worth listening to. He puts in a very positive contribution around here.

Regards the mod comments re El Gordo, I do feel complelled to clarify. El Gordo has never asked to be a mod here. His name has been put forward in discussions, when we've discussed possibly asking more people to be mods, but we haven't asked any new people to be mods for some time, we've only discussed the idea and then concluded we don't need more mods right now. It is actually a compliment to El Gordo, so far as I am aware, that his name has come up in such discussions.

Now please no more fighting!

Not really as it could be my real name and occupation so im not impersonating anyone but i can not confirm this for privacy reasons as per the rules also

And also i didnt use my complete name as in barack obama
