Such is the effect of Supply and Demand. If you had one escort in Cork, I dare say she would be charging €400-€500 and getting it.

The ratios don't mean that much is reality. The fact is that Dublin punters have in the region of 30 female escorts, or nearly 15% of the total providing a 1 hour basic service at €180 or less and therefore, a fair proportion of punters for one reason or another, will have no reason to look any further than this group.

Competition in Cork obviously has not reached the stage yet, where escorts need to reduce prices to those levels in order to remain competitive.

Two factors that the original poster did not mention:

1. Given the small number of escorts in places such as Kerry, Tipperary, east Waterford, the catchment area for escorts based in Cork City is probably larger than just Cork (city and county)

2. Quite a few members from Cork have constantly complained here about the number of "independent" escorts in Cork who are actually agency, therefore the level of actual competition in Cork may be lower then it seems as a number of large agencies could operate a cartel-like system.

1: 1,662,536. is the pop of greater dublin area I think in popualtion the terms dublin has greater
catchment

2: The quality in cork is dismal I just went thru the 52 indo girls there very quickly
are only 6 could be called indo for certain and maybe 7 others possible

I would expect an independent escort to make that claim about other escorts, but if it were true, your ratios should be borne out in similar type pricing structures between Dublin and Cork. The fact that they are'nt would indicate that the markets are operating very differently between Dublin and Cork and that what you and others are saying about Cork is correct.

Another reason why prices are lower in Dublin, is that non-EU escorts need a student visa etc to stay in the country, and as most of the larger language schools are in Dublin, so are the escorts. Plus if they want to remain studying here, they need a high attendance record in order to be successful when they reapply for a further student visa. Therefore during term time, their mobility is somewhat restricted.
