kelly as a escort it is a service you supply not goods in terms of business so if your turnover exceeds 35k then you have to reg'd for vat check your IT48 form and when your filling out you TR1 section A3 business details 14a. you would have ticked the box service or other and 14B would ask you to describe service or other not as you stated profession = escort

    Default In fairness Kelly......

I thing he's talking about the Republic of Ireland in relation to the tax, I'm sure that's where the confusion has come from.........

    Who must register for VAT?

A trader is generally required to register for VAT for making supplies of goods and/or services, subject to his or her turnover exceeding certain thresholds. The most common are €37,500 for the supply of services, and €75,000 for the supply of goods. Some traders are generally not required to register for VAT, although they may choose to do so. These include traders whose turnover does not exceed the thresholds above, and also farmers. Traders engaged in exempt activities are not permitted to charge VAT. However, they may, in common with farmers, Government Departments and other bodies be required to register for VAT, in order to account for VAT on services or goods received from suppliers outside Ireland.

However he is incorrect with the directors and share holders bit, a LTD company can have only 1 share holder holding all the shares known as a Single Member Company...........

If I'm going to be audited again soon, I'd like you to do it, no need to be gentle, it's not my first time.................

That remind me, P 35 is due..............
