    Default law and disorder...

I have an interest in law and order. I think in ireland and to a similar extent, the UK
have encountered problems with social order that are set to get worse.

If you were out and a social dud boxes you in the face-unlucky you! If you ring the garda, they might
tell you he is a bad yoke and as he has 32 previous, not worth pissing him off further, he might'nt like it.

If you were to hit him and hurt him, the law protects him equally. I have read of a case where scum
tried to mug a karate expert. the scum was awarded 6k for his moderate injuries.

lets talk more serious crime. if someone rapes and murders, one or several people, the worst they will face is an orderly prison enviroment, meals, councelling, education. people who have robbed others of their lives and denied all human rights-this is the very thing that the lefty apologists are
    focussed on.

parenting, or lack of this, is much of it. these duds deny that they fear jail, but im sure when they are in there, they may realise the errors of their ways.

Poland introduced chemical castration for certain sex offenders, in a response to a particularily heinous case. a grand idea.

through my research i have established that the death sentence does not eradicate serious crime, in the US research has shown that the death penalty creates even more vicious killers etc
in the US there are many mentally ill criminals and they have lost a grip on reality so would not be concerned anyway.

However, I do feel that now we have removed the death penalty from our justice system, we may have removed a vital part of it. those horrid thugs with their defiant walk and stare being led out of the courthouse. I would be intrigued to watch one of these cowards in the lead up to their hanging.
this process gave a sence of immediate justice to historic communities and today with DNA we can avoid ever getting it wrong.

    your thoughts?

Hi Warmcome, you are indeed an interseting lady.
You have raised some very controversial points. This crime & punishment issue has so many layers that there is no 1 solution, it is multi-faceted.
I think it starts with parenting, opportunities available for education & careers, feelings of self-respect, self-worth & respect for others. This positive beginning in life comes from both home environment & state. Let's be honest, prisons in Ireland & most other western, 1st world countries are for 1 class of people only. We live in one of the most unequal societies in the world & the feelings of being dis-affected will only increase amongst the same people who never got a lick of the tiger. This is a social problem but also one the government didn't have any real appetite to solve even with all the budget suplusses.
So we end up with the dis-affected, ill-educated young man in our midst & he has no respect for himself, let alone anyone else. No one has ever said anything positive to him in his life & he is the product of our rampant capitalist, greed is good, look after no.1 society. He is doomed before he ever began.
He then becomes a scumbag & learns lots of new tricks as he is continually processed through Mountjoy for petty crimes, until he graduates to some proper stuff.
Is this accurate or am I a liberal, lefty apologist ?
I contend that as the bankers, politicians & any other person who has had every opportunity in life are caught comitting crime they should be punished even harder !
I also however want to differentiate between rapists & criminal scumbags. Rapists & paedos should be chemically castrated after the closest adult male relatives of the victims have 10mins in a cell with a baseball bat with them. Criminals who have never had opportunities should be given a chance to better themselves while in prison, it's a form of self-preservation for the state, better chance of them not re-offending.
The state & society divorces itself from any responsibility for the scumbag. We are all partially to blame for what our society produces & an unjust & widening divide between the wealthiest & poorest will only produce similar results as in the USA.
Will capital punishment work ? I don't think so, again look at the US.
Are prisons for punishment or for rehabilitation ? A functioning rehabilitation regime would surely bring crime rates down in time ? The current system only serves to institutionalise the criminal & it's purely an education system for young offenders to graduate to bigger crimes.
Then there's the victims, that's the one I don't have any real answer to. What is the best way to help the victim feel like justice is being done ? I have been a victim of a pretty serious crime, which left me in a bad state & one of my friends with a more colourful past took retribution & that helped me. That's taking things into your own hands though but I do feel there's a case to be made for the law of the jungle - inflict something similar on the criminal ?
I contend that our biggest problem in Ireland is a loss of social conscience, a me fein obcession, a pointless drug prohibition & rampant inequality. Crime, scumbags etc. are all a symptom of this.

People should not be allowed to have the vote unless they pass a test. That might explain why people keep voting for FF.

People should not be allowed to have children unless they pass a test. The world's overpopulated as it is.

All violent crime should be punished by painless death. That includes morons who like fighting after the nightclub.

    hi lads!

i appreciate your feedback. no two people will have the same viewpoint in life because we are varied and have emerged from differing pasts and experiences.

try and adopt a kid in ireland, it is rigorous and thorough. however, two fools with zero life skills (and probably no resources) are allowed to create families of unlimited size. society has encouraged this and is paying for this 'surplus' in the short and long term.

organised couples (say two bank tellers) wait and plan for there solo child and endeavour to make a good job.

this is the modern age, full employment will never return for all as in victorian times.

yes, i am disgusted by some of the blatant white collar crime. i suppose i am a bit classest here. i have transcended class so have an insider view.

poor, poverty, deprived etc etc. there is a view that if you give people who have little money, more money, that this will be a solution-no- this is what we have done. I was brought up 'poor' but empathy, considering others and listening to your consience dont cost, they are learnt.

ireland is a socialist state, we believed that once we got the protestants out, that our little ireland is sussed? how fucking wrong could we be.

total drug tolerance? could that be better than it is? even the dutch wont brave that yet-although i know only government can compete with the gangsta.

nads, are those your nuts in that barrow?

    Default My nuts

Yes M, those are my nuts - impressed ? Lots of baby batter for a willing lady !
Mind you, with the current cold snap I don't need the wheelbarrow, a big sling suffices - they're trying to get inside my body !

I too was brought up on the wrong side of the tracks but you can't underestimate the value of good parenting & being pointed in the right direction (says he, posting on an escort website).
I honestly couldn't live in a huge house with a big, fuck-off car & all the trimmings knowing that there is so much inequality & poverty about but there is a nasty trait in us Irish that was exposed during the Tiger shite. Greed, ugly new money stuff, look at me I'm better than you because I have a penis extention for a car & the wife shops in NYC twice a yr. A lot of these morons are well acquainted with the repo. man lately. Good enough for them.
I don't have an answer to the drug issue but I know that prohibition is a failed concept. If it were legalised & controlled by the state then the quality would be ok, the scumbag gangstas. would be out of business & the state could raise additional tax revenue. The main reason the dealers have become so ruthless is because there is sooooooooo much € to be made. They could be made unemployed overnight.
You are an interesting lady, that French guy was lucky me thinks.

    Default Capital Punishment etc.

this must be brought back to wipe out serial offenders & those who carry out crimes such as rape & murder they are no loss to society the law does not act as a disincentive at the moment there is no law here parents are to blame not giving a fuck where their children are or what they are doing scumbags are preying on the vulnerable i.e robberies they all need to be wiped out public executions cannot be ruled out either - a return to vigilantism will come about soon I'll round up the troops if required.....

    Default backbone

    hi EP!

glad to see there are people who can percieve the bullshit in the irish criminal injustice system. they have become dud, probably they were lovely babies and the lord may love them, but they are a danger and a nuisance to society therefore they must die-keep tags on all family and friends forever more.

when i heard that case from galway, involving Manuela Riedo where that social garbage beat, rob, rape, murder, and remove half of her groin-then lie in court about her to her weeping parents.

this model father (scum) already felt confident enough about the future to breed twice himself.

there lies a pet food factory up the country- they have a full size mincer...

equality? there are quality citizens and there are those who are incompetent though breed, similar to horses.

obama could have become a crim, blame it on discrimination, but no, he believed in himself and probably had to work much harder-but i admire that man!

    i am centre right?

nothing will change as this shit have animal rights.
