Homophobia is a legitmate illness-he should have kept that information about his sexual preference to himself. Just because he wanted to come out of the closet and still enjoy being a Rugby player is selfish-he wants his cake and be able to eat it too-I"ll never watch Rugby without thinking-FAGGOTS

I am really surprised with you, fair play to that guy coming out and announcing he is gay, he is a world class rugby player who is respected all over the world, the fact he has come out will help other people who are gay and who want to tell the world. I play rugby and one of my team mates announced he is gay, it makes no difference to us, he is still a great player who puts 110% effort into winning matches for us, he is a really nice guy and I am proud to call him my friend, fair play to Thomas for coming out, and I even respect him more now

I don't go out 'gay bashing', getting drunk and beating up gays isn't something I do on a Saturday night; denying a gay person a job or housing beause of their sexual orientation isn't something I've done or will do, so I don't get your reasonig for saying I'm discriminating against gays just because I've grown tired of the inflex of ''coming out of the closet' culture thats swept the cultural landscape-its too in your face. I'll say it loud and say it pround, ''I've had enough of the faggot culture'' that's around.

And if he really loved the sport of Rugby, why he had to ruin it for others by coming out of the closet, him being gay should not affect his playing, so why the need to let it be known he was gay when he knows people might not be accepting of it? What he does in his bedroom is his business, do others really need to know about it?
