Just had a look at my reviews and I noticed I got a ratted one

The reviewer is genuine, he has been with me for a few times now.

The reason: "user is registered as an escort / agency".
How ignorant is that? If someone was indeed an escort / agency and wanted to leave fake reviews, do you think it would have registered as an escort / agency !!!

I won't admit for a second that this is correct, but just for the sake of the argument, have a look at his other 2 reviews. THEY ARE NOT RATTED ... so why just mine ??? That doesn't mean I want to see the other 2 reviews with a rat I just want to point out the silliness of the situation.

Obviously, someone is taking the piss or is thinking I got nothing to do better to do now then talk about what's what

All the current review administrator had to do, was to read the review, look at the guy registration date, his postings and his other reviews and the conclusion would have been clear as water: the review is genuine and if the guy has registered incorectly, this has nothing to do with me and sure as hell I won't accept it to ruin my reputation.

Is there a new current now to alienate good advertisers from the site ???

I was always nice with everybody here, I never complained about a thing even if I didn't like it.
But this is way too much and unfair to me, simply I won't take it

wouldnt you think it would be way better to pm the site admin about anything like this?You would get far quicker results and their attention would be brought to the matter quicker as well.It could simply be a simple mistake that could be rectified in no time.

Also, if the review was from someone who just registered I wouldn't have posted anything in public, I would have gone fully private as I understand that sometimes with no prior history it may be difficult to decide. If in doubt, such reviews are ratted just to see if the reviewers would come back with more explanations.

But for someone who has other reviews, it's not just a mistake. The review is not coming after submission with a rat, this has to be done manually by an admin person. What kind of mistake would that be ??? My finger slept and it falled on the "rat" button ???

Are you a full mod now or just covering ?

but all im saying is you get better results by pming and solving it privately.As for the review system or reviews itself ,i cant see them or have any dealings in them and never will as i think there are others here that can and would do a far better job if reviews than i would.

Certainly an admin issue. Those registered as escort/agency should simply be barred from posting a review.

I'm sure it was simply an error on behalf of the punter ticking the wrong box.

Karin, I think you are over-reacting a bit here.

You got a review which was ratted and you feel it was unfairly ratted.

Sarah didn't rat your review out of malice towards you.

If she was wrong to rat it, maybe it was a mistake of judgement or a technical error, but I am sure if you ask her to look at it again, she will do that when she gets in tomorrow morning. (You've created this thread 20 minutes after our offices close so obviouly she is not here now).

You are the customer and as a cutomer you have the right to complain when things are not right, but I it's also not very nice for our staff when you work hard all day and do your best for everyone, then when you get into work in the morning you see a big thread like this, all because you may have made a small mistake perhaps. I don't see what a huge deal this is or why it can't be sorted out professionally.

We are working on getting a good reviews team together and making lots of positive changes to the reviews system but that can't all come together immediately. At the moment Sarah has main responsibility for reviews and Ric is helping her out. I would hope to be in a position in a couple of days to make an announcent about reviews team, but the basic idea is that we have at least 1 member of staff working on reviews only full time, plus 2 review moderators and I also want to get another team going of escorts and clients who don't have any involvement in reviews on a daily basis, but, when there is a problem with a review, can look at it and vote on what should be done, like a little reviews committee, but this is all a bit hazy still, I'm still trying to work things out.

Regards West being a mod. Yes it was decided a while ago that as West was helping the mod team out a lot anyway, it would make sense to make him a mod too. I think he's a great addition to the team, really I couldn't be more impressed with him in recent times, I think he is a great site helper and a real asset to this site. Normally I would have made an announcement about this, but it actually happened the same day ninebythree left, or the day before. My last communications with ninebythree were actually about this. So in the swirling pile of shit and spam which followed I never got to make an announcement.

In my opinion, I just reacted, not over reacted. I was just merely expressing my frustration and disbelieve that this happend.

Fair enough, your staff is working hard each day and wouldn't like to see such a thread when they come back to work in the morning.
But don't you think my situation is similar? I am also working hard to get my good reviews and I don't like it one bit when I see that one review of mine has been unfairly ratted.

Even more, the review team may feel a little annoyed about my thread, but that's it. No big loss for them, probably they'll forget the issue long before the lunch break ... But my rated review might cost me potential customers.

I haven't worked for the last three days because of a cold, do you think I would be happy to have no clients tomorrow and the days after because of this issue ??? For me, reputation is everything and as far as I am concerned an escort is as good as the last genuine review she has received.

Yes, I reacted, but I hope you can understand I have a very good reason for it.
