well im hoping its an inflammed strain in which case a strong anti inflammatory like Difene will help relieve the inflammation while still allowing the muscle to function normally hence not just masking pain but im not sure what other affects it may have i.e drowsiness etc

have tried tiger bsalm which is like deep heat,it helped a little but only masked pain i think

    poor ol' me
the problem is when a strain like this happens the muscle contracts and stays contracted which is the tightness you feel. The whole idea is to loosen the area while at the time same keeping inflammation down on it with icing while strenghtening the area too.

i got it all from experience.Remember dont overdo the tennis rolling and you will still feel sore and say "what the fuck is west on about " but give it a few days.Watch what way your sleeping too.Sleep on the side away from the injured side and let your arm accross your chest.

right shoulder (needs increased space but they can wait till im dead to do it)
torn left abs muscles, (no surgery)
torn right ankle tendons, (not fixed couldnt be arsed)
detached surgery for right groin tendon, (horay)
    right elbow surgery, (small one)
