    Default World Cup Draw

With the World Cup draw being held this evening I wonder what kind of a group France will end up in.They could have the likes of Brazil Ivory Coast or Mexico in which case I think they would struggle to qualify or possibly South Africa Algeria or Honduras which would be comfortable for them.
After all that happened last month I hope they get a really tough group.

Oh yes, the likes of Ivory Coast or Mexico would have any team shaking in their boots. </sarcasm> Don't tell me you actually believe that.

God forbid they might get the biggest non-seeded team of all, the U.S.A. ranked about 10th in the world. The super-silky skills and brilliance of the USA team, can anyone stop them lifting the trophy this year? Having U.S.A. and Mexico in your group, what a group of death that would be.

Here's a tip: The FIFA rankings are all complete bullshit. 10/14 european teams got through to the second round of the world cup in 2006, only 3/14 non-european and non-south-american teams did. They're all shit. The rankings are a farce. FIFA cares about nothing but money.

If it was based on the second round qualifiers of 2006, 20 european teams would be allocated this time, minus one for hosts and teams like that, that would make 19... that would mean all of second-placed teams got through and even more, Ireland would be through almost every time.

John Delaney and the FAI, Brian Cowen, Dermot Ahern (bless 'em) may have got all excited now because of Henry's handball, asking to replay the match and saying Henry was "a bad man", what a load of fucken bollox. It was something that happens within the bounds of football chance and human error. If they really cared about Ireland getting through, they should demand more european places and THEN say FIFA isn't playing fair when they don't give them to them.

Oh then maybe they'd be accused of being racist or something and they'd never like that. They're all such naive, weak-minded fools who will be swayed by the latest nonsense as easily as leaves are by the wind. Sometimes I think they're almost like little children.

    Default Roll on the summer.

    Spain Brazil Final.

Spain to win with the holy trinity of Xavi, Iniesta and Torres and 'bit part players' like Casillas, Fabregas, Villa, Puyol,Pique..........

Hope France get England and hammer 'em.

Would like to see England do a Scotland World Cup Special i.e. knocked out in first round

Can see one of Ivory Coast, Cameroon or Ghana getting to semis.

The weather should allow for good fast open football as the heat wont be such a factor.
Football should never be played in the Summer anyway...........

England look to have got a comfortable group. I cant see USA or Algeria giving them too many problems.Slovenia will test them but they should still be good enough to win the group.

As for France I think they will find it tough against Uruguay and Mexico but should beat South Africa(whether by fair means or otherwise.)They probably will qualify from the group but not go much further.

Brazil should win that group with Portugal and Ivory Coast battling it out for second place.
