You can't say to someone "if you don't give me money, I'm going to slander you, ruin your name" etc., it's a highly illegal thing.
You told us the name of the crime itself, extortion, bribary, whatever.
Anyway weren't you listening? He did threaten her and harass her. If she doesn't want to be communicated with then he is not entitled to continue it regardless.
Fun fact: Once I was arrested in my own home and had to speak with gardai several times because of some bullshit that went on over the internet where I was completely in the right. The gardai are out to get what they can and some are the dumbest fucks you could ever come across in your life. They have this thing about "acting in good faith", that basically lets them do anything they want. All this stuff about "getting off on a technicality" is about when the government don't want to convict someone for whatever special interests/reasons they have. Don't be so naive.

Well Nicegirls, It seemed on the face of it that he was trying to extort money on the pretext that he would write an untrue, pack of lies review, Patty mentioned the specifics of the physical threats later and anyway Im mot so sure that someone operating as an escort with a presumed name has much of a reputation to be protected, not that I would agree with that that should be the case, she has to go to Gards if voilence was threatened upon her, and she is weighing up the pros, cons. it might be worth considering the poss that this guy is using the bank details etc of someone else, as his real intended vic.
