even though it would be nice to get there ,we have no business in the World cup.At our very best we got to the Quarter finals without winning one game i believe.I think the only game we won was against Romainia on penalties and that was by a far better team than we have now.this current team would be humiliated in a World Cup.They dont belong or deserve to be there talent or ability wise.

I think it is not out of there reach. The two Diarras are crap and if we get some set peices i think a 1-nil win and scrape through on penalties can be achived. I would love to have a midfield of Andy reid Stephen reid stephe ireland and duffer but that is not the case so andrews and whealen need to do the business.

Much as I would like to see Ireland qualify I dont think it will happen.

By a Whelan wonder goal you mean he will slip compleatly miss hit it and the ball will take a wicked deflection of Gallas and end up somehow crossing the linehowever vidoe replays will show that the whole ball did not infact cross it but the rerf will give it anyway?
