How about 2-1 to ireland whealan to score a wonder goal and dunne to power a header home and a kilbane own goal.
I think everyone is forgetting the sheer dominance the french will have on the game, look how they controlled the game in Dublin, in Paris they will completely control the game and I think nicking two goals is out of the question

I hope we go through but they haven't lost a competitive home game in something like 10 years

Long odds on that happening I would think.

New Zealand see North Korea, (also got hammered in confederations cup)

We could still do well and win a game or two
we are relying on some of them playing shit to win.Sort of unreliable really.I put it this way. With the top teams playing shit we still would be very lucky to make the quarter finals and still wouldnt have a hope of winning the cup.Im no football expert but i know enough about it to understand that any team that relies on other teams playing bad in order for themselves to do well ,hasnt got much business in the world cup.Be nice for them to get there though and im not begrudging them the chance but they arent cup material at all.

    Westside.

    Default Not too Keane.

--- Robbie Keane , a good player ? -- Jury still out on that count I reckon.
How Harry R. makes him Capt. of Spurs ( my team) is one of life`s mysteries.
Fluffs too many chances and not prolific enough considering the service he enjoys at Spurs.
Re: Ireland ,his poor lack of strike/score record is exposed due to an inept mid-field supply.
Would love to see Ireland qualify , -- God knows we need some National cheer .

the problem i see tonight is that we have two center midfielders that pass that ball side ways or backwards ...........which is fuck all use when you play two wingers.

On the plus side, we have fuck all to lose ...........

    4\1 the draw

Only 2 years until the Rugby World Cup which I think will be the next time any Irish team will be in with a chance of winning something on the world stage.

Unless Brian O Driscoll changes sports in the meantime.

--- Yeah ? -- that Kit would look grand, donned by the Irish Fat Knackers " MENS" Team would`nt it?
--- perhaps the opposition would conceed through a laughing fit.
