    Question Emigrating with animals

Whats the story as far as emigrating and taking animals with you?Any countries allow this?Leaving is something i will be strongly considering in the new year but dont want to get rid of the animals.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.

    hiya,
Well when i was living in London and i went back to SA permanently, i took my cat with me, it is expensive though and some countries have quarantine procedures and times in place, but i couldn't leave him behind, so now he lives happily in the sun with me. he is officially my "pom cat"

What sort of animals, chickens? Have you grown attached?

Of course people take their cats and dogs with them of they're leaving on a permanent basis. There isn't much of a bond if they just leave the cats/dogs/birds behind forever.

In general moving from Ireland with animals is much easier than moving to Ireland with animals.

Good luck wherever you end up.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Depends.I know ppl in the US and could go training with them and maybe pick up a job as a strength trainer in one of their gyms.Just weighing up all my options at the moment because to be honest Ireland is just getting ridicolus right now.The only thing is work is a bit down globally at the moment but if Ireland doesnt pick up in the next year or so i would leave unless i got a job here which i was happy with.

    Westside.
