    Question Best chippers in Dub

Whers the best / worst place for a decent bag of chips (fries) in Dublin, and leave out McD or BurgKing etc?

Traditional caffs that have a chipper on the side are way fucking better eateries than any fast food shithole. Don't get me wrong - I love a slap-up meal in a fine restaurant, but it's great to go into a caff and get a giant plate of chips along with whatever for under a tenner. Food and people feel more honest somehow.

In Limerick, there's Enzo's, the O'Connell Grill, and the Golden Grill on William Street. Blades will be drawn to defend the reputation of each

Burdocks at Christchurch still have a great reputation.

Most of the Borza chip shops are pretty good too.
