fact is, liverpool totally dominated the game, and could barely score from open play. They managed to draw with a cheating dive and needed a 40% Gerrard to come in to lend a hand.

Regardless of Birmingham having a ridiculously strong defence, Liverpool should be able to break these teams down.

its not going to be Liverpools year this year.. dont know what it is about them, they just cant get over the finishing line.. They are a really ordinairy side without Torres and Gerard... id say Benitez is under serious pressure... if i was him, id relax by going to one of the many knocking shops in the Liverpool area and blowing a gasket... that will help him to concentrate on his team selection... and god knows he needs it at the moment.

They must surely be out of the title race now if they weren't already. 11 points behind Chelsea is too big a gap for this early in the season. However good Birmingham defended they should still be able to beat these type of teams. They remind me of Arsenal last year. Ngog should be punished for diving. There should be stricter rules against divers. He won't be punished as Eduardos was overturned earlier in the saeson against Celtic.

Ngog is in the wrong sport, he should be going to the Olympics in 2012 as one of them synchronised divers .. yeah

Liverpool definitely got out of jail last night.

I agree that it should not have been a penalty.
They are certainly struggling this season no doubt about that.
