There's been some posts here recently on STD transmission
I thought I would give my thoughts on the subject.

Every time you go have sex with a girl.
(A) There is a probability that she has a STD
and if (A) is true then
(B) There is a probability that you will catch this STD.

In order to reduce the Probability of point (A)
go to an escort who has the following characteristics

Reputable experienced escort with good hygiene and good reviews. Check reviews, experience, profile etc. Go early in her shift and early on her tour and/or at time you know she will be less busy.
It will be less likely that she was acquired an STD and there is an STD in the Environment and she has cleaned before you arrive.
A escort who charges extra in order to see fewer punters and/or for unsafe activity
also reduces probability that she is a carrier.
Also I would guess that gay, male bi-sexual, transsexual escorts, drug addicts(street girls) and
certain national groups have higher rates of STD. I not basing this view on any moral standpoint
but on the known statistics of HIV/AIDS prevalence in society. I would imagine if HIV/AIDS is
more prevalent then less-lethal STD are also.
i.e. If you go to an Heterosexual female escort from a country with low rates of HIV/AIDS who is not a drug addict the probability is less that she has an STD than others.

In order to reduce the Probability of point (B) happening

You should completely avoid the following actives
Bareback sex

You should greatly reduce or avoid the following actives
CIM, facials, Deep throat (STDs can live quite happily at back of throat)
rimming.

You should try to reduce the amount of time spent on and exposure to
OWO, reverse oral

Wash out mouth before and after OWO and reverse oral.
Engage head down as otherwise gravity will assist flow of an STD i.e. avoid face sitting.
Also avoid French kissing after an unsafe activity or if escort or punter has bad visible hygiene.
Maybe all escorts could reduce their base price and then offer these services as extra price?
This would reduce amount of people doing it.

In order to get a proper analysis of risk of OWO we would require following.
A survey of escorts and punters sexual health history from punting.
in order to actually come up with what the actually probability i.e. odds are of catching
disease from OWO with a random escort or punter.
We have no real idea just how many of use involved in industry are affected.
in this country. I think EI is only place where this could be done.

People need to remember that sex with a escort must be limited and safe.
You cannot except same level of service that you would with Wife/girlfriend.

maybe we should look for a condom that covers the hole body just like in the naked gun film i wonder would that work you say avoid bareback sex i don't believe that there is any escort going to offer bareback sex unless she is totally insane yes there is always risks with owo low risk of catching hiv and oral on the girl is also a low risk if the active partner has a healthy mouth i could garantee you that you would catch std's quicker with one night stands where there is a lot of drink taken then the condoms are not going to be used i am meeting escorts years now and i get a full medical every year and i have never had anything its alway been clear of all std's maybe i have been lucky but your thread would not scare me off meeting escorts i feel that in my years of experience all the ladies that i met there hygiene was top class i only had one very bad experience and the sex didn't happen with that escort

Those of us who are very careful about these things tend to be viewed as killjoys but its still important to be realistic about chances. I remember a guy on this site before saying he got Gon from unprotected oral with a classy escort ( in London I think ) . All the side effects etc.

Some of us are bigger worriers than others and some of us have more to lose than others so unfortunately have to be more careful.

occasions OWO was always available except on two occasions.
So in my experience there is a 2.3 % chance of catching an STD from OWO with escorts.
I am sure that I have been unlucky and the actual number for punters/escorts
is lower. but what?? 1%, 0.5% , .0002%
I was lucky at time as the STD was mild one in terms of effect and I was not in a relationship.
It was fixed by anti-biotic and an embarrassing visit to STI clinic.

On the occasion in question it was some time ago and the escort was reputable and is no longer on EI. I spent two hours with her on a evening she was very busy (i.e. I assume she saw another punter shortly before I arrived and received a lot of OWO and for some reason I never showered or washed before leaving that night. Perhaps If I had gone in when she was not busy, received a little less OWO and showered afterwards the probability of getting an STD would be have been lower.

My problem is no-one knows what the actual risk is?
To say the risk is "very low" what does this mean 1-100 1-100000 ??????
We need more information in order to make proper decision about the services
We give and reveice in order to protect your health.

Can EI commission a survey of punters/escorts on site or is there too much
money being made to worry about people's health?

I do think it's a good idea to be seeing a reputable escort with good reviews and hygiene

if someone has an STD it dosnt matter if you do owo for one minute or 30 min you still have that contact and there fore potential risk of infection

I do agree but you can't wash of an STD

Best thing to do
1. Don't see an escort if your that worried
2. Get checked regulary
3. See only reputable escorts that are hygieneic (more than likely they get checked every month)
4. Always wear a condom for sex and oral
5. only see girls that don't offer owo or unsafe sex

Your percentage based on your personal experience is bollox.

I have been with hundreds of girls over the past 30 years and have caught nothing.

It's all down to a few sensible precautions and a bit of good luck.

Good to hear Smarty for those of us who worry too much after the event. I thought I had an std but it was a bruise ( didnt look like a bruise ) where the stupid escorts let go of the condom as she put it on . Snap !!

Of course one tries to me macho about it at the time.

My next visit will deffo include oral with condom as i'm really only a massage man at present, when i can punt at all.

I cant see any risk in oral with condom, especially with an escort who consistently given oral only with a condom, although these ladies are very few in number......
