I say we should just throw in the towel now and save us all the big waste of time. FIFA effectively threw us out of the world cup by seeding us. The bookies are giving Ireland only 25% chance of getting through...

Although a difficult game it can be done, we played the French of the park at hampden don't let them settle on the ball, don't sit back in awe and let them play to there game, keep the crowd pumped up so there keeking themselfes and finally get stuck right intae them

    These are the facts.

    1. The French may have better players but they lack the ability to play as a team.
    2. Domenech has never beaten an Italian manager.
    3. Trapatoni is tactically more astute.
    4. Ireland are playing as a team and we have one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

It's gonna be tight, but we are gonna squeeze past.

I have to admit, I admired the way England qualified for the World Cup, there was no messing about. I think most Irish people who like football will keep an eye on England. If they support one of the bigger teams in the Premier League you're always going to want to see one of your players on an international stage.

But honestly, since you guys haven't shut up about '66 I'm praying you don't win the fucker

Our greatest asset here is the French's flakieness. If they play as team like we will then it's curtains but all that Galic attitude, cockiness, va va voom & all that doesn't help them.
The players don't like their manager & let's face it, if they're that good why are they in a play-off ???

The cheese eatin' surrender monkeys are goin' down !
When I'm the Minister for Revenge Bertie's ring will be twitching !
