John Gormless has just announced that the plastic bag levy is going up from 22 Cent to 44 Cent.
Will those tree hugging cunts come down from their Ivory towers and cop on that the last thing Joe Citizen needs is another stealth tax, which is increasing by 100%.
If anyone else did that the Govt would be moaning about it.

To be honest the plastic bag levy has been very sucessful it has totally slashed the needless
use of plastic bags,how many times before it was introduced have u seen a person buy one
item and have it put in a plastic bag.Now stand at any supermarket checkout and u will see
most customers have a reusable bag of some shape or form which is only a good thing.
In the countryside before there were plastic bags blowing every where from takeaways etc
the reduction in fairness has been dramatic.As for being a tax i cant see any increase in tax
take here as it will further diminish the use of the plastic bag.There was a hue and cry when
it was first introduced but we soon saw that the level of use was needless and i would say
the vast majority of people would see it as a good thing.A major problem with our society
is that we totally abuse anything that is free and put no value on it until we have to fork out
for it

Somewhere down the line there will be an Escort tax. Escorting without tax clearance cert will be illegal, inspectors will be from a private company, contracted by our Gov to extract the spondulix from the escorts. (us). There will be an increase of 21% on prices. (Time spent will be the variable on this luxury service. We will probably be taxed at the point of entry.
