Voting yes will give the green light for our government to pass the buck at appropriate times, allowing them slip out the back door as Bertie did.

The Lisbon Treaty is a complete FALLACY, as we would learn in future, when the content would be amended and there would be F all we could do about it

This has nothing to do with our volunteers, we are not giving away our freedom and it's shameful that parties would use a tactic like this to scare people.......

As I've said before, I don't think we should have to be voting on this again, but we are, and the reason is that this time people have been, or should have been better informed about what's involved and some thing have been clarified or changed..........

Have to agree with u, was in Dub last weekend and to see the poster with Mc Donagh etc being
used in this way,Ifelt it was a great insult to associate theese men and what they had fought for
with a campaign of misinformation and some cases downright lies.

Default Yes Stewie, I know it's not the same thing, I was just using it as an example....

It's just another thing that I've heard been thrown about. If we vote yes we'll be part of an EU army. That's BS to start with but apart from that, Irish soldiers have been serving with the UN all over the world and nobody bats an eyelid about it but now it vote no or we'll have to contribute to an EU army.......

I think it's disgraceful and an insult to the memories of those volunteers that they be used in this political twisting........

yes as a peace keeping force . . .not to intefere to aid with restoring order

the yes vote will not get in and as i've already said 'this fallacy' because thats exactly what it is, can be changed without our consent at a later date. As bad as it is now, as we are trying to be forced into a yes vote, imagine what would be ahead when the amendments are made not needing our consent, and that is the truth of the matter

this government allowed the builders to borrow from banks to build houses done so by mostly foreign labour force

Our population was up 10% in the last five years made up mostly of foreign transient workers

when the building ceased because there were too many damned houses, the people who occupied the houses (foreign workers) got the hell out and the people had bought houses at the craziest prices to rent out were left with empty houses with huge negative equity, nobody to rent them to and the property market in a complete nosedive.

    the government didn't regulate anything

    prices of houses
    banks/lenders
    investment companies

they allowed foreigh companies to come here
with huge tax incentives, not tieing them down to a set period of time

with the minimum wage here, we were overwhelmed with transient eu workers

and other newer countries joining the eu that the companies would be gone as soon as they received the same amount of incentives from other countries with a much lower labour cost.

knowing damned well when the property market bottomed out, people were going to be in serious shit

then bertie does a backdoor stunt

irish people are forced to compensate with huge tax levies

    and on and on

    jesus enough is enough

Vote NO on Friday if you want to live in a backward, bankrupt, narrow-minded country populated by lefty loonies who will object to anything progressive. I for one do not want to be left behind as Europe and the rest of the world marches on. Who is pushing the No campaign - Joe Higgins, a poor misguided socialist; Youth Solidarity, a misguided and offensive sect; Declan Gantley, partly funded by UK Hedge Fund managers with a vested interest in seeing Ireland's economy implode - the list goes on (I'm surprised Dana is not in that list too). Yes vote NO on Friday and join the freak show.

For many years Ireland has been a nett contributor to the EU, so we have actually paid for a lot of these roads ourselves.

NAMA is a flawed financial model that will cause us financial grief for decades, so no praise there.
Also our money from the ECB will have to be paid back in full with interest it is not a grant
