Billy Connolly once used this analogy and reckoned that we're all part of something much, much bigger that we're not even aware of, in the same way that an amoeba living in the water of the puddle that you just splashed onto your shoe is completely unaware of you, because you're way too big for it. We spend so much effort looking inward at ourselves and outward at the universe trying to make sense of it, when all we really have to do is look... up.
