I'm surprised no accidents with Ryanair aircrafts so far. Everytime I board a Ryanair aircraft I think I'm risking my life. I flight with them very often, every month because most of the time I don't have other choice. But I really prefer to avoid Ryanair. It's a chaos when boarding if you didn't pay the extra for Priority Boarding. Long lines at the boarding gate and people pushing to board the first. In the aircraft a total chaos to find an empty seat and place for your luggage. I had one time that the plane was departing and almost at runway while some passangers are still trying to place their luggage and not sitting yet. Also one time that the flight attendants just ignore the fact that there where babies on board and in need of a child seatbelt. We where at the runway when one passenger ask if they will not give a seatbelt for the babies on board. Flight attendants running then like crazy to provide the child seatbelts before the plane take off. Total chaos and dangerous.

I don't think that would pass health and safety.

I'm sure in a crash you would bounce all over the plane.
With Michael O Leary nothing is a wind up if it will save money for Ryanair.
    The Truth is out there.

I agree - I refuse to fly with them any more.

And I'm not sure how much money you really save, once they hit you for all the extra charges (oxygen, use of carpet, wrong colour jacket, etc.).

Air travel used to be an expensive, exciting, once-in-a-while experience. Now it is cheap, nasty, cramped and miserable. I think I preferred the former.

Sorry, Feargal, I don't agree with you that the likes of O'Leary should run this country.

I think he's an arrogant tosser and a slave driver who has put his company's profits above ALL else. His latest long-term profiteering stunt is in spending €500,000 of RyanAir's money in a campaign intended to sway the Irish people towards a "Yes" vote for the re-run of the Lisbon treaty.

You can be sure that there's "Something Rotten In Denmark" or, in this case Brussels, when the likes of O'Leary wants a "Yes" vote.

    Default like or loath

like him or loath him everybody takes advantage of what he has done to drive down prices
how many people could afford to fly regularly without, what he has done or maybe the well
off want flying to remain an elite pursuit .Do u think we would have escorts flying in here for
3 or 4 days without the low prices or what effect it would have on their prices to us.
Just ask the girls and u will find alot of them go on the net and build their stay around booking the cheapest flight they can get,if they can get here for a €100 or less maybe ,it justifys them coming and makes it more attractive for them. How many would come for short trips if it cost €400/€500
    to get here

I agree with you to a point, yes thanks to Ryanair I personally have travelled a lot more than I could of heretofore afford to.
However you are missing my main point which is they will add so many extras and complexities that there is a danger that they will shoot themselves in the foot and people will just not be bothered booking unless for essential travel.
If your a guy who travels with just a backpack of carry on items happy days but for all others watch out.

Whats your point here surely its the real customers that have a right to complain.

Do you really think so ?
If you want to be kicked out of your job and replaced by some foreign national at mimimum wage.

If you go into hospital and every thing after a sticking plaster is "extra"

Sure he's your man all right
