If you are an English teacher you should know the correct spelling is BOLLOCKS. You're getting mixed up with Chelsea's German midfielder I think.

Ballocks was first used in the written word by James Joyce and Joyce's spelling of it was with an 'a' as in ballocks..........which when you think of the meaning of the word (balls etc) makes perfect sense.....
