Trusted Reviewers

Hi,

Nicole tells me a couple of people have been asking for an explanation as to the medal icon that is appearing next to some reviewers' names in the reviews system.

This is the trusted reviewers badge, denoting that the reviewer is considered a trusted reviewer.

This is a new feature.

It will take the reviews arbitrator a little time to get to grips with this feature, we can't expect him to look at every reviewer and decide if he should be a trusted reviewer or not overnight.

I will also be publishing a FAQ explaining how the system will work once we have worked that out.

so how does he choose wether some one is to be a trusted reviewer or not.is it going to come down to the amount,anyone can write lots of fakes.i love writing reviews on the girls i see and wont go to one if they dont allow reviews(there is one tempting me but)all my reviews are totally genuine but theres not that many,does this mean i cant be trusted.this makes me feel that because i dont have a badge that i cant be trusted,not nice.im sad

i see that there was a few skipped alrite but there was none giving to anyone who doesnt have a lot of reviews.iv read the rest of this tread including nb3's were he said hes only started and just done the more obvious ones so maybe we just have to wait and see.i really hope that there is more considered than volume because thats unfair to a few of us.if people are giving badges to say they are trusted it puts the rest of us in a bad light,i know it doesnt say we are not trusted reviewers but when asked are we trusted we are skipped over so it puts a question mark against us.

You're right WD, so far it seems that quantity is the basis for awarding medals.
If Escorts are not automatically contacted to verify the veracity of a review, how is it checked?
Just because someone has posted a lot of reviews how do we know that the encounters all actually took place.

We dont bud , in the same way if someone has 6 reviews how do we know all those encounters took place................you see this reviewing crack is not an exact science but im getting there.

But its not only quantity , its just it the reveiwers with the most reveiws show up on the front of the main review page ,thats why you can see their medals. the rest will show up if they write a review . If memory serves me correct there is one reveiwer with seven reviews got a medal

I think it's a good move. I don't think WD-40 has anything to worry about. You can spot the majority of fake reviewers after a while and genuine reviewers like WD-40 will earn their gong soon enough.

You could put up a poll here to ask fellow peers to vote on another's bonafides and gauge what the vibe is as to if he is seen as someone they put faith in his reviews. have it an open poll so that all can see that only known posters voted or it could be hidden so that Patricia and E-I Staff and review mod can see who voted. Just an idea. I for one would put store in what someone like WD-40 says and tbh I suspect that some of the ones with lots of reviews could have become jaded or a little world weary and some fresh blood to have a badge would be a positive thing.
