    Default Swine Flu

Now that a second person has died from swine flu in Ireland (and this time the poor guy didn't have an underlying medical condition), should we all start to be much more scared of catching it?

When you consider that the majority of the population will contract it without even realising they have had it! (because they are expecting some dreadful illness worse than any other flu, and quite often it's a day or two of feeling off colour with a mild temperature)..I wouldn't worry un-necessarily.. If you are generally fit and well you will very likely just shake it off.

Businesses are already predicting that this could have a very bad effect on them. If the situation gets worse as health organisations predict it will, they feel that people will be more and more afraid to go out and come into contact with other people unnecessarily so as to lower the chances of themselves contracting it........

People may start to avoid crowded places, pubs, clubs, shopping centres, cinemas, theatres..........

The return of the school term will be a bit of an indication...................

The government are up the creek on this one and are really afraid of getting it wrong, if they tell people to go about their day as normal and it turns out to be spreading and people are getting infected they'll be shafted for telling people everything was ok. If they tell them to avoid public places and cause a panic they'll be shafted too..........

Every cloud has a silver lining..........

Something else we can blame on the government.............

is they have their own immune systems shot from medicating for every small thing,i havent
taken an antibiotic in over 25 years get a cold just carry on get over it, most things just take plenty fluids have an early night keep warm and stop feeling so fucking sorry for ureself. If a kid sniffles
nowdays its off to the doctor for supplements and antibiotics, just put him out let him play outside
acclimatise not inside with a playystation in a house with the heat turned up that u could grow
tomatoes. Same thing u go into any shop ,bank public building etc the blast of heat when u go in
nearly put u sitting on ure arse, then they go outside and all u hear about is its so cold and its
actually perfectly fine but they have been in a sauna all day and that aint healthy. II work outdoors alot and i get soaked am out when its freezing and i dont get colds etc only very seldom and
i attribute itto ure body adapting to u circumstances so treat it like a prima donna and it will

But people will panic and be concerned, and the government will be a part of it........

It's a bigger risk for then to say everything is ok and run the risk of people dying and then people saying they have blood in their hands for not warning people, than causing some panic but people not dying........

It'll probably be blown out of proportion..........

this type of stuff has being around all the time and ppl have died from the flu as well before any fancy names were attached to it.The medics need to stop this crap and keep things real in the eyes of the general public. This swing flu is simply the flu ,maybe a bad case of it buts its the normal everyday regular flu.

Instead of being scared simply keep your immune system up to scratch by eating well and acting when the feel sick instead of risking it.The older genrations were on the ball with their ideas.A spoon of brandy etc.

    works,
    Westside.
