Thread: Location, Location, Location

    Default Location, Location, Location

I forget who it was who said the above, but seriously location of an apt/hotel is something the ladies underestimate.

In my opinion, it can be the reason for some of the no shows (the guy realises just how far he has to go)

On my last dozen punts, here s where I went

Railway street, this is a terrible street off Gardiner st and was very dangerous. I am a big guy and can look after myself, but I was sold the address as being off oconnell st! Lie!

Thomas street, another rough part of town and this time I ended up next door to a busy boozer

Beside the O2, now the 02 is good for a gig and all, but its a long walk down the quays and I was well out of town in a very quiet dimly lit area full of vacant apartments from the celtic tiger madness

Next I was out in Dalkey, a hell of a long way out as I discovered! Jo Maxi, expensive!

Next was just off Camden street, a great location

So good, I went back again!!

Punt seven was down the quays towards Heuston station. Handy for the boggers on the return leg home, but again a walk.

Next punt was an increasingly popular area advertised as D2, but offically D8 and near the SCR. OK location for me, but plenty of others would say too far and felt too obvious.

Next I was back out to Dalkey, grumbling again, this time a dart rather than a njo maxi. Took longer, cost less

First hotel next and near Rathmines. A fair bit out of town and too overused

Penultimate punt was in a second hotel, well known D4, way too well known

Finally I ended up back in D8, diff lady

The upshot of all the above is simple, most of us in Dublin live in a suberb. City centre is cool.

    These random locations are not

This idea of walking 25 down to the 02, or heading down thomas street doesnt appeal. Nor do the same hotels in D4.

Girls need to be more honest about their location too, we are not looking for the apt no, but a more accurate place /street would help.

    My three cents

I think it would be a good idea for escorts to let us know on their profile if they are in an appartment or an hotel.. Personally I wont go to a hotel..A simple 'A' or 'H' after city name would suffice.

A simple phone call should elicit that information.

On the subject of location,I drew a blank a few months ago in Dublin when a brazillian girl I rang told me to go to Gordon Lane which I couldnt find, with the suggested landmark St Stephens Green. I was too late to make other arrangements. Turns out on another more successful punt that the street was Golden Lane near the landmark of The Radassan! Maybe where the grl doesnt know the area or hasnt great english a text with directions would be great and reduse the number of failed meets.

on the subject ov discreet apartments, i phoned a lady last week to make an appointment, she was nice on the phone and her reviews was good, now the area the lady told me she was staying i no like the back ov my hand, i wasnt happy were she said but i said i chance my arm if its not busy, now this was around 8.30 in the evening and i no the place well, so i left home i walked to the place as it was 5mins from were i live as i was going out on the beer atfter i seen the lady, i made my way there i thought to myself fuck i was right this place is a no no, to someone who is well know in this area, it was a terrace house, no garden or anything you walk out the door and your straight on to the main rd, and the cop shop is 200yards down the road, so i phoned the lady and i thought fuck may be i might get in and out without beeing seen by some body i no as the lady in question was hot so i was horny as hell just walking around to the appointment, so i phoned the lady when i got there as she wanted to see me so i looked ok to let me in, she could see me from the window and said ok honey walk across the street, as i went to cross the road, there was 2 ov my mums friends stood on the street from the house next door having a fag on the footpath, i said fuck this and said hello to my mums friends and carried on walking, there was no way i was knocking on the ladys door no matter how horny i was, so when i got around the corner i phoned the lady and explained to her what happened and i said to her sorry but the place is not discreet anough and may be i catch her next time she was in this area, she was ok with it, close escape

I would never punt that close to home - not even in my nearest town which is a few miles away. Too high a risk of getting seen.

  9. Default I always state...

in my tour profile whether I am staying in a hotel or apartment.

I have booked only hotels for my Ireland tour as I have never been there before and haven't been told of an reputable apartments.
When i visit Scotland, I only ever use apartments, I love eing able to offer breakfast, lunch or dinner in house so to speak.
I'm sorry some people don't like the idea of hotels and I hope that doesn't affect my first tour.
    You live and learn.

yes but...you can save the hassle of calls just to ask "are you in apartment or hotel?" by stating on their profiles simply A or H

i don't like to see an escort in hotels, but it hasn't stopped me from spending an hour or two with a super sexy girl called Corinna ....i hope she returns soon...it must be 7/8 months she hasn't come back to Ireland
