Right, I was at this fucking debacle in Thomond and yelled myself hoarse watching these stupid cunts on our team repeatedly give the ball away, fluff marking assignments, make inaccurate passes and generally do everything they could to fuck themselves over.

Given was his usual self - he might have done better with the two goals but hey ho. John O' Shea had a fucking horrible game - his man kept getting behind him wide and scampering away down the line to latch onto a long ball before he even reacted. Richard Dunne only rallied in the last fifteen minutes of the match. Stephen Hunt kept on fucking crossing the ball low and hard instead of lifting it high, Robbie was his usual donkey self falling around all over the place, and the "youngsters" who we want to develop simply could not string more than five short passes together. We have no play-breaker in midfield, we have no pace on our right wing, and our defence is leaky. Australia's defence dominated, their wingers have decent pace, and that third goal at the death was absolutely beautiful to watch - he got applause from everyone in the ground for it.

Packie Bonner before the match told the crowd that Ireland are "..three matches away from a World Cup Finals". Not playing like that shite they won't.

Thank you Mousey. I didn't see the match but after reading your post I'm glad I didn't. Although I was wondering did Trap play Kevin Kilbane? Seriously I fucking hate that guy. He's the worst player we've ever had.

For this 3 nil defeat I think Trap should bring in a little bit of Roman rule; Decimation and I think Kilbane is the one to be killed.

to be honest,i think the problem last nite was completely down to the centre of midfield,gibson and whelan,im mean they arent gonna win to many battles are they.they went missing for large parts of the game. We are missing our centre midfielders the two reids and stephen ireland, much better
