when the gov come back from their school holidays ask them.Then no sooner are they back they will annoy us all about a referendum that will basically fuck us and a referendum we all turned down already.Apparently all of these so called urgent measures of taxation can wait until they get their referendum first.Yet again Europe is more important than the Irish citzens.

I wouldnt worry too much about the charges as the water charges wont be 700 ,i reckon around 150 - 200 and the property tax should be on second homes.The charges will come in but i dont think they will be as high as some ppl say as it will discourage workers from working.

They should put a 5billion+ stimulus package into jobs, enterprise, etc.. irish people are unreal for taking crap and not getting out there and causing an uproar, anarchy and rioting Is the way to go. Doesn’t make sense to vote yes just to accommodate some other European heavyweights. Germany economy’s output (exports) is over 30% of the whole EU total. Doesn’t even include their own large domestic market. Ireland will be swashed and will become voiceless if this Lisbon crap goes through. Whys it even called Lisbon? Did the Portuguese invent this crap? Europe has the EU union and dosnt need this Lisbon and didn’t need that ‘Nice’ crap either a few years ago which initially got a no vote aswell. And theres something very dodgy about fine gael, labour and fianna fail actually agreeing on this treaty.

These are whats reccommended by the report.The goverment will then debate it.The water charges will not be that high.Im guessing they will around 200 or so.Im saying this based on what refuse charges are and the cost of refuse collection and disposal.The water charges wont be as high as refuse.The property tax will be on secondary homes im guessing.If a property tax comes out on primary homes it wont be 1000 ,it will be less.

i agree with westie 100% here, i never seen such reckless and disrespectful spending of public funds in this country by all publc governmental agencies.. county councils in particular.. such lazy people, they drag the smallest jobs on for ages and the roads in places are a joke with potholes and all that.. even though they take in millions in road tax, NDP and other funding, vat and the excise on fuel, 70cent per litre i think, its not a % and then vat on this too before the garage adds on their bit of profit.. the most expensive fags and drink in europe because of excise.. how could a government that took and takes in so much be so damn 'bankrupt' ??????

Just put a protest NO vote fotr Lisbon that will guarantee to have Brian Clown de-throned in October.
