I dont think I would ever use my credit card to pay.
I did withdraw cash once from a machine inside a club in Munich to pay for services to be rendered a couple of years ago.

People are paranoid enough about giving their real names alone never mind using a credit card. Maybe it would be more common for clients who are only in the country for a short while. I don't think it would be very common for people from Ireland to do it. Maybe one or 2 from Fianna Fail might claim it on the expenses
