This is a request to the moderator.

I have been turned down by escorts because of my accent on some occasions and skin colour in others. I am old enough to know that racial prejudice exists everywhere - Europe, America, Asia, Africa - its everywhere. I also know that racial prejudice aside, people are entitled to have preferences. I have come to accept these facts and don't pass any heed on them.

Some escorts ask me where I'm from when I call to book and say they cannot see me when I tell them. I always thank them in a civil manner for letting me know.

The ones that piss me off are the airheads who let you travel considerable distances only to look at you through the keyhole and dismiss you with no apologies.

My request - which i think is reasonable - is this: is there any way you could make for a section in the escorts' profiles that would allow them say who they would not entertain?

This could save some of us a lot of time.

Oh thats so sad. Its really not fair at all. I'm sorry to read this.

But some escorts prefer to meet Irish people in Ireland and simply won't meet anyone else with a non indiginous accent.

But your completely right. We should have a section on the profiles for ladys to say whom they will/won't meet. The sad reality is the lady's might feel that by declaring their prefrences they may appear as being racist. So it would have to be worded carefully.

this had come up before, and has proved to be a fairly hot topic, there have been cases where escorts have expressed preferences not to see men of a particular age or origin, they have the right to make those decisions, and they should be respected, as you have done, and you are to be commended on your mature and open minded dealings of these situations.......

The problem, as I see it with the girls stating on their profile that they do not want to see men of particular origin is, not everybody will see it as clearly as you do, that they are just providing information to you to prevent a situation where they are not comfortable with, for whatever reason, and allowing you to make an informed decision and not running the risk of wasting your time, but some will see it as them being racist for not seeing people of a certain origin and could be seen as discrimination.......

I know most people would just prefer to know that the escort will not see them from the start, but others will see it as something else..........

I realise that you would just prefer to know from the start rather then being turned away after a quick glance out through a window, or a look through a peep hole, but I don't think the girls would be willing to provide this information to everybody, I would say only by request.......... but it has happened........

I just previewed your review there pinpoint. Sorry to see that happen, i would certainly find it frustating if it happened to me. my only experience is hearing a black escort saying she didnt like seeing black men for whatever reason. But your case is different. how often does this happen you, or anyone else for that matter? how many escorts would have racial exception i wonder? people may suggest that you ask an escort when making a booking as an alternative

It has happened loads of times. I guess the essence of having this forum is for people to rub minds. Previous posts have made me see it might be difficult putting in a "race preference" section in escorts' profiles - thanks Ric Flair and Luther. Like you suggested from now on I'd let any escort I'm booking know where I'm from ab initio. Problem solved! Simples!!!

Everything in life is messed up anyway. Like I don't know if you have a pet, but if your sizes were interchanged... it'd run after you and try to eat you in flash.

Most of the time escorts say (or claim anyway) they don't go for certain races because of previous bad experiences with them.

You might want to watch your words as you could be misinterpreted easily. I'll give you an example - an idiot out there could assume you meant that escorts seeing coloured people is unsafe. I personally don't believe thats what you meant by the way. But if by any chance it was, could you enlighten me why you think so?

That is not the implication by any means. I am in no way a racist, I have worked as an escort and I know of girls who were hassled by groups of guys from eastern europe. So as a rule they became cautious when taking bookings.

Its a dangerous job working independently and I'm sorry if your sensibilities are offended but I believe escorts have every right to do whatever it takes to feel safe. If we lived in a culture where the job was morally acceptable and maybe even regulated then this wouldnt even be an issue. But as it stands I can understand escorts having preferences when it comes to 'filtering their clientele'.

Personally I dont have any ethnic bias, I don't take drunks or anyone who seems even slightly aggressive in tone but I've known escorts who have been selective and I completely understood their reasons for being so.

very reasonible request mate for a very frustrating situation.I really despise racism,its so small minded,everybody deserves a chance and sud be judged on their own individual actions.unfortunately thats not the case and this is really wide spread.i remember visitin a certain girl who i actually really like but on this occassion she really pissed me of.when our session had finished and i was putting my clothes on she sat on her bed giving out about blacks coming to ireland and thinkin they can do want they want.i cudnt belive wat i was hearing,especially from someone who was also foreign and had come to ireland to work in an ilegal industry.???people are ignorant and thats just life
